Tennessee Titans Fall to 0-3 in 2009

Not many people would have thought the Titans would start the season this badly. This could mean the Titans' season is already over before it really started.

The Titans play in the AFC South, the same division as the Indianapolis Colts - this doesn't bode well for the Titans. Once you dig yourself a hole in the NFL in the beginning, you spend the rest of the season trying to climb out of it.

It's not that the Titans are a bad team. In 08' the Titans went 13-3, winning the AFC South and overthrowing the Colts. This year QB Kerry Collins is completing less then 59% of his pass attempts - granted the Titans have an average receiving core.

The running game of the Titans is more dangerous, as Chris Johnson and LenDale White are a formidable running duo.

The Titans' defense has been good at stopping the run but not much else. The Titans are among the worst in the NFL in points per game allowed and passing yards per game allowed.

They don't seem to be doing anything different then last year - which might be the problem this year.

With the loss of DT Albert Haynesworth, the Titans defense may not be as strong as it once was but they still have defensive skill players such as Cortland Finnegan, Chris Hope, Keith Bulluck, and Nick Harper.

It is hard to believe that a team coached by Jeff Fisher will continue to play this way for an entire NFL season.

Since the Titans play in the same division as the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans, hopefully they can get some "easy" wins against them and other below average teams to finish the season with a respectable record.

This can either be a very long season for the Tennessee Titans - or it can be one where they find out what they are made of bouncing back from a bad start.

NFL Football Picks Preview - Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans come out of one of the best seasons in the history of the franchise. With a regular season 13 - 3 record its hard to believe that they need much help in the off-season. However, as with any NFL team, you can always better. The Titans do enough in the dead to merit consideration as a race of Super Bowl season? They even make it to the series? If you are looking for free NFL pre-season, don't expect not choose the Titans to the best team in their division, not to mention the entire NFL.

The good news: The best thing you can say about the Titans is that they always their incredible turbulent attack. Last year, "Thunder and Lightning" tandem LenDale White and Chris Johnson led the Titans offensive attack. Chris Johnson has shown it is a running back is a League. Its combination of speed and power is unmatched in the NFL. It was the fastest player combine harvester from College, but his balance was a question mark. However, after a season complete, we know now that it is real business.Looking over the door that the season is his direction.Ils also added another receiving broad decent Nate Washington since the Steelers.

Bad News: Probably the biggest setback the NHL lost "Everyone" defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth for the Washington Redskins in the minutes of the opening of free agency. It has signed a contract for 100 million dollars for him make paid advocate higher in the history of the League. His brand of exhausting game in the middle of the defence is not found anywhere else in the Ligue.Il will be very difficult to replace player. A talent like him does not along very often and the Titans will be almost as strong defence accordingly.

They will also dynamic on the offensive. Set password is always a liability in most cases. They have a wide receiver # 1 on the registry and Nate Washington isn't about to change that.Kerry Collins is still their quarter and it is not getting any jeune.puis behind him, you have one of the largest case sits in professional sports in Vince Young. Will only have their offensive is Chris Johnson with the occasional dose of Lendale White. The defence may not be able to win 13 games this year.

Outlook:Don't find the Titans to repeat their performance last year. All go NFL football picks Paris, expect the Titans to be exceeded by the Texans Colts and complete their division.Ils third will be always competitive, but overall, I think that the Texans have sufficiently exceed expectations in the division.Even the Jaguars could return and compete in this division.Ils have a single season far having a very good team and you never know what arriver.Cette division will be a knock-down, drag-out together how to fight.
